Verizon sees 2.3 million iPhone 4 activations during Q2, McAdam is CEO

Verizon received a huge boost from the iPhone 4 in the second quarter Activation 2.3 million units, adding 1.3 million new postpaid customers and raking in $3.6 billion revenue for the quarter. Since the Verizon iPhone 4 life launched, enabled the carrier 4.5 million total units, is considering a pretty strong showing the anticipation of an imminent successor to the Apple Smartphone. On the other hand, AT & T, sold 3.6 million iPhones in the same quarter, the iPhone 4 and 3GS models combined.

Largest airline of the country is looking to move to a fairly dominant future. It has a healthy and beautiful portfolio of smartphones, and it has the fastest 4 G network in the US Verizon has also expanded its 4 G LTE network in 28 additional cities this week the number of covered markets more than 100 nationwide.

AT & T, meanwhile, has still start a your own 4 g LTE, and instead calls his slower HSPA + network "4 G." However, we expect the AT & T LTE network, soon to start, perhaps late this summer, and it just might be rivals Verizon's blazing fast 4 G solution.

There is still doubt whether the consumer an almost-a year smartphone from Verizon purchase be interested in, these doubts were squashed certainly revenue and numbers of Verizon's. And with an iPhone 5 on the horizon, it looks like there is no slowing down its quarterly performance.
