We have been big fans of the Waze app, because it offers free social traffic and navigation data, so it is good to see that the company is known, that it has taken more than five million users and that it will be updated its Android app.
The number is a good milestone for the company, especially when you consider that it turn-by-turn navigation competing against the free, the built-in with Google maps in Android phones comes five million mark. The Waze app recently played a large role in the "Carmageddon" in Southern California and it will be interesting to see how it continues to grow.
The Waze Android app was also a bump, as it contains text speech voice guidance and a boosted widget that specify a few meters, contains as much traffic it now on your commute is.
